Walmart Celebrates Over 3,800 PA Associates Participating in Live Better U

This year marks the five-year anniversary of Walmart’s Live Better U (LBU) education program. Over the past five years, the company has saved associates across the country nearly half a billion in education costs, reflecting the company’s commitment to creating a path for everyone to learn and grow. In Pennsylvania, there are 3,826 associates who have reaped the benefits of this educational program.

Since the program’s launch in 2018, more than 104,000 Walmart and Sam’s Club associates have participated in the LBU program. The program, designed to help associates on their education journey as they earn college degrees or certificates that are fully paid for by Walmart. LBU offers academic programs from 25 of the nation’s leading academic partners.

Whether someone is chasing their first job or the opportunity that will define their career, Walmart is committed to creating pathways of opportunity for everyone.
