Washington Township Police Issue Permits to Bright Speed Representatives

The Washington Township Police Department has issued a total of 11 transient retail permits to representatives of Bright Speed.

According to police, residents may see individuals wearing polos and lanyards going door-to-door as part of Bright Speed’s sales activity. The individuals are legally permitted to solicit under the township’s transient retail regulations.

Police emphasized that the department does not endorse Bright Speed or its sales efforts, but confirmed that the representatives are authorized to conduct door-to-door visits.

Residents who are not interested in engaging with the sales representatives can simply decline or choose not to answer the door.
