Waynesboro Police Request Public Assistance Following Armed Robbery at McDonald’s

The Waynesboro Police Department received a report of an armed robbery on 10 May 2023 at 12:30a at the McDonald’s Restaurant situated at 302 East Main Street. Employees informed authorities that an unidentified person carrying a black semi-automatic handgun entered the establishment and proceeded to take money from the registers and the night deposit. The suspect left the premises and fled southbound on foot across the parking lot. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

The individual responsible for the robbery is described as a young white male, approximately 5’10” in height, with blue eyes and a stocky build. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and a mask during the incident.
