WellSpan Accepting Applications for Nurse Externship Program

WellSpan Health is accepting applications for its Nurse Externship program for nursing students.

Gage Wildasin, a registered nurse at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, joined the organization after completing a summer nurse externship. According to Wildasin, the externship provided exposure to career growth opportunities, continued education options, additional qualifications, and support from preceptors and peers. He noted that the support he received during the externship continued after he became a graduate nurse.
