WellSpan Health has awarded an Inspire Grant to Communities in Schools of Pennsylvania (CISPA) to support expanded services for at-risk students and families.
Using the grant funding, CISPA has expanded its services into the York City School District. The expansion includes integrating site coordinators into schools to identify and address student and family needs.
According to Julia Kint, community grants program administrator at WellSpan Health, the grant supports CISPA’s individualized approach to student success by addressing needs beyond academics and supporting lifelong wellness.
Lindsay Swartz, director of institutional giving at CISPA, said the organization focuses on ensuring students are healthy, safe, and supported so they are more likely to succeed academically.
