WellSpan Health’s mobile mammography coach will offer annual screening mammograms at the York State Fair on Thursday, July 30, from 3 to 7 p.m.
The coach will be located next to the Ag Education Center near Gate 3. Screenings typically take 10 to 20 minutes, and walk-ins are welcome.
Patients should bring a photo identification card and an insurance card, if available. Eligible patients without insurance may receive a screening at no cost through grant funding.
Patients do not need to be established with WellSpan. Screenings are available for women age 40 and older. Women ages 30 to 39 who are considered high risk must have an order from a primary care provider.
The mobile coach provides routine annual screenings only. People experiencing breast symptoms or who are pregnant cannot be screened on the coach.
