WellSpan Health’s pet therapy volunteers and their dogs are visiting patients, families and team members across the health system in Central Pennsylvania.
Elizabeth DiCampli, a certified nurse midwife and volunteer at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, said visits from a therapy dog named Happy can help brighten difficult days.
WellSpan’s pet therapy program includes volunteers and their dogs who provide visits intended to bring comfort, connection and positive interactions to people throughout the health system.
