WellSpan to Host Breast Health Fair in York Sept. 26

WellSpan Health will host a Breast Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the WellSpan York Cancer Center, 25 Monument Road in York.

The public event will focus on women’s health and breast wellness. Cancer survivors, families, health care professionals and community members are invited to attend.

The fair will include educational resources, on-site screening opportunities and opportunities to meet members of WellSpan’s multidisciplinary breast care team.

Wellness and self-care vendors, a photo booth and a tribute area will also be available.

Featured presentations will include Dr. Sara Azam discussing GLP-1 medications and women’s health and physical therapist Judith Efiom-Ekaha presenting on pelvic floor therapy.

Light refreshments will be provided, and registered attendees will have an opportunity to win door prizes.

Franklin County Schedules Mosquito Spray For Hamilton Township

Residential and recreational areas in Hamilton Township will be sprayed for adult mosquitoes beginning around sunset on Sept. 8.  Areas to be sprayed include but are not limited to: Sollenberger Road, Johnson Road, Leedy Drive, Holly Lane, Hamilton
