WillaJean Wolf Holm 91, of Needmore PA passed away at home surrounded by her family on January 16, 2023.

WillaJean is survived by her Daughter Wendy ( Rex ) Akers of Needmore Pa, Son Joseph Holm of Needmore Pa, Grandson Clayton ( Jenn ) Moorman of Warfordburg PA, Granddaughter Shenan Moorman of Urbana MD, Step-Grandson Daniel ( Jeanette ) Akers of Houstontown PA and her Great Grandchildren Craige, Kahlei, Kyle, Taylor, Kami, Joey, Allie, Paxton, and Crue.

WillaJean is preceded in death by her husband Craig G Holm, and Son Jerri L Holm.

WillaJean belong to the Damascus Community Garden Club in Damascus MD, The Damascus United Methodist Women’s Club, and The Republican Women’s Club. WillaJean also started volunteering with the American Red Cross while living in Thailand and continued volunteering once she returned to the US for many years.

In WillaJean’s 91 amazing years she did everything from a Batik Artist to teaching English to students in Thailand to working at the White House. She also enjoyed traveling to several different locations and countries throughout the world with her beloved husband.

WillaJean was a avid Washington Redskins and Caps Fan, she even had to have a nurse at FCMC find a channel on the tv so she could watch them play in the Stanley cup.

WillaJean’s family was her greatest achievement from raising three amazing children, to watching her grandchildren grow up, to spoiling her 9 beautiful great grandchildren were she taught them a thing or two when it came to playing cards.

WillaJean will always be remembered as Nannie and as a sweet and gentle person who touched many lives she will be deeply missed by everyone.

A celebration of life for WillaJean will be planned at a later date.

The family has entrusted WillaJean’s care to Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg, PA.
