Senior midfielder Hannah Seifried from the Shippensburg University was named to the 2022 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Lacrosse First Team on Monday, marking her second consecutive All-PSAC First Team classification. Voting is conducted by the league’s coaches.
Seifried led the Raiders with 51 goals this season and finished the regular season ranked sixth in the PSAC for goals per game (3.00). She is also ranked seventh in the conference for draw controls per game (4.82) and eighth in groundballs per game (2.76).
Seifried not only led the Raiders in goals, but she led the team in draw controls (82), caused turnovers (24) and groundballs (47) and was second in assists (11). She scored hat tricks in more than half of the team’s games (13-of-17) and scored multiple goals in 12 games. Seifried also had at least one point, one groundball and one draw control in every game. She had multiple caused turnovers in eight games.
Seifried completed her Raider career with 112 career goals (tied for 10th in school history), 188 draw controls (second in school history), 89 groundballs, and 42 caused turnovers. She was also named the 2021 PSAC Eastern Division Athlete of the Year and a 2021 IWLCA Second Team All-American.
