Police looking for shooting suspect
Chambersburg police are looking for a man accused of shooting into an occupied building on Hemlock Circle Thursday.
Nijah Malik Abdul-Rahim, 24, Chambersburg, is wanted by the Chambersburg Police Department foreight counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and two counts of recklessly endangering others.The incident happened in the first block of Hemlock Circle.
Magisterial District Judge Jody C. Eyer issued a warrant for Abdul-Rahim’s arrest On Friday.
Police did not provide details of the shooting incident, and court records, including details from an affidavit of probable cause filed to obtain the warrant, won’t be available until is located, arrested and arraigned.
The eight discharging a firearm charges are third degree felonies. The two reckless endangerment charges are second degree misdemeanors.
Abdul-Rahim is described as a six-foot tall Hispanic man Weighing 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
