The Penn State Mont Alto department of athletics is proud to announce that Chayse Fisher (Mercersburg, Pa./James Buchanan)Tyler Moreland (Spring Mills, W.Va./Spring Mills)Clark Payne (Shenandoah Junction, W.Va./Heritage Academy) and Hunter Reath (Mercersburg, Pa./James Buchanan) were named to the USCAA Spring All-Academic Team this week.

The USCAA All-Academic Team award goes to student-athletes with 24 or more credits on their USCAA transcripts and cumulative grade point averages of 3.50 or greater. A full list of the 2020 USCAA Baseball  National All-Academic Award winners can be found here.

In addition, junior pitcher Ethan Slusser (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) is the team’s John Fritz Sportsmanship Award winner. Named after former PSUAC Commissioner John Fritz, the sportsmanship award is given to one player from each team in the league who best displays the core values of the league and sportsmanship to teammates and opponents throughout the season.
