Two Raiders cracked the SU all-time Top 10 lists in their respective events. Keeling delivered the highlight of the morning session by swimming the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:28.41 – a result that proved to be fifth place overall following the evening timed finals. In the 50-yard freestyle, freshman Lauren Croll tied for 19th place with a time of 24.55 seconds in the ‘C’ final. Croll improved three places from her qualifying seed achieved in the prelims.
Among the personal bests on the day was the 1,000-yard freestyle by freshman Gwen Elsey, who crushed her PR in by more than 20 seconds with a time of 11:06.26 that was just shy of a scoring performance.
